About this organization:
Collaborative Medicine for All Program is a pilot that will run from September 15 to December 15, 2011.
The pilot will allow us to test and perfect a national program that will connect hospitals with Mind/Body practitioners and enable referrals and collaboration in a patient-centric format.
"It is our goal to provide a highly trusted, credible network of practitioners of Complementary and Alternative Medicine to the hospitals," said Jill Shah, CEO of Jill's List. "As patient demand rises and doctors become more comfortable with evidence-based mind/body treatments, referrals to private practice CAM practitioners will go up. There is a growing need for a vetted network of successful and experienced CAM practitioners who can collaborate with the hospitals, help treat patients, and potentially lower costs and improve outcomes."
Jill's List will provide a patient-centric referral, scheduling and collaboration system to allow patients and participating hospitals and practitioners to track appointments and encourage communication and collaboration. All participating practitioners will be provided with as much technical support and training as they need.
