About this organization:
Founded in 2000 under the direction of Woodson C. Merrell, MD, The Continuum Center for Health and Healing (CCHH) is a national leader in Integrative Medicine education, research and clinical practice and the administrative hub of the Department of Integrative Medicine at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City. Utilizing the strengths of biomedicine and expanded evidence-based healing approaches, integrative healthcare addresses the causes of illness and processes of healing from a bio-psycho-social, spiritual and environmental perspective.
The Center offers a wide array of health specialties including Family Practice and Children's Health Services; Holistic Internal Medicine for Adults; Acupuncture & East Asian Medical Care; Integrative Nutrition; Orthopaedic & Sports Rehabilitation; Physical Therapy & Fitness Training; Integrative Ear, Nose and Throat Medicine; Integrative Gynecology and Women's Health Services; Mind-Body Services; and Holistic Psychotherapy and Stress management.
