Questions

What would you like to tell us about your practice?

Integrative Mindfulness emerged from the growing awareness of the many benefits of a mindfulness practice for the health of mind and body. Mindfulness strengthens our natural ability to be present with awareness, in the moment, as life unfolds. Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is an evidence-based educational program proven effective for reducing stress and improving health, well-being, and quality of life. Designed and implemented by Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn at the University of Massachusetts Medical School in 1979, MBSR is supported by three decades of scientific research confirming its benefits.

Today MBSR continues to grow in popularity and is taught in hundreds of health-care and wellness settings throughout the U.S. and worldwide. MBSR is a complementary resource for promoting the effectiveness of conventional medical therapies. MBSR is also beneficial for people seeking practical tools for living with more ease and calm, for performing at their best, and for responding wisely, rather than reacting automatically, to life’s inevitable stress. If you live in Collier or Lee counties, including Bonita Springs, Estero, or Naples, or the surrounding vicinity, consider attending a Free MBSR Talk.

Madeline's 8 week course on mindfulness was the best thing I ever did for myself. The result for me the careful planning and presentation of learning to be mindful to reduce stress, anxiety, grief and other emotions was that I learned how to identify and redirect my feelings using Madeline's suggested techniques.  Being able to achieve daily happiness and peace using the new "tools" which are becoming integrated into my being and will be a lifelong endeavor.
Madeline intelligently supports this medically based program with a variety of timely CD's, reading material, homework assignments and reviews, on-line meditation as well as wonderful retreats and meditations in nature.  The classes and the level of professionalism were far beyond any expections.  However, Madeline's personal and exceptionally warm, kind and loving approach to her students and our needs makes the connection to the information especially deeply felt and opens your heart to a whole new life experience.
Madeline continues to provide a mindful community to her graduates through classes, retreats, Facebook and varied pleasurable events to attend and that is greatly appreciated.
