Several years ago, my physical therapist suggested that I visit an
acupuncturist for tendinitis in my left hand. I was in PT for 6+
months and wearing a hand brace that completely immobilized my hand.
It wasn’t until I started treatment with Scott that I noticed a
difference. My tendinitis was gone inside of a month. I still have not
experienced a flare up. Recently, I visited Scott to assist me with
the healing of my right foot. I had minor bone surgery. I visited him
twice a week for two weeks. The pin in my foot was supposed to be
removed in 4 weeks. My pin was removed in 2 weeks. The healing time
was cut in half. I returned to many of my regular activities. Scott
consistently addresses emotional balance in my treatment. I leave his
office centered, calm and genuinely optimistic. Scott creates a safe,
welcoming and nonjudgmental environment for all of my concerns.

Life Changing Acupuncturist

I really don't know where to begin when it comes to Scott Cedeno. I was unhappy with the various acupuncturists I had seen over the course of about 5-6 years in the Boston area, so I took a stab in the dark and found Scott online about a year ago. I have been suffering with extreme lower back pain for about 8 years due to herniated L4/L5 disks as well as a physically demanding and strenuous job environment. The first visit I had with Scott was the most informative session I had ever had - I actually was a little emotional when I left his office the first time due to his insightful comments as well as his confidence that I could change my future and become healthy - something I had kind of given up on. I was in a lot of pain when I left, which he said I would be, but the following morning I awoke feeling 95% better than the day before! Since then, his care has propelled me back into a normal, healthy lifestyle. Scott really gets to the heart of the matter and treats me for numerous issues - his intuitive style is wonderful and makes each visit unique, organic and REAL. He doesn't just dial it in and give you the same treatment every time which means he really pays attention to how you are feeling at that moment on that particular day and provides treatment accordingly. I am so glad to have found him and now I only need to go for maintenance sessions every 3/4 weeks or so. I tell everyone I know about him and highly recommend his expertise.!!! :)

I went to see Scott while I was in Boston because I've been injured for a while with hamstring tendinitis and plantar fasciitis. I had been having moderate to severe pain for almost 8 months and I had been going to acupuncture for months in San Diego and I had only seen temporary improvement. I was at a loss for how to heal from this injury and felt I was doing all I could. Scott had helped me before so when I found myself in Boston, i decided to give him a call and see if he could do something that the other acupuncturist wasn't doing. The visit itself was comfortable, relaxing and I knew he knew what he was doing. He gave me some kind but truthful words about the lifestyle I was living (high stress) and commented on the real reason I was injured and not healing- I was burning the candle at both ends. After the treatment I felt immediately better and for the next week I went from 40% full strength/no pain to about 90%. The results were even shocking to me- someone who has been helped dramatically by acupuncture on many occasions. Just as importantly, Scott made me realize that acupuncture WAS going to help me get through this so when I went home, I found an acupuncturist that could help and I've been improving steadily ever since. Thanks Scott!

Best acupuncturist I've ever found

I have been to many many acupuncturists over the years, and Scott is head and shoulders above them all. I've dealt with chronic fatigue and other vague but life-limiting symptoms for years, and he is the only one who has helped me make real progress in reversing them. He is very open about sharing his treatment process with me, which I really appreciate. He really knows his stuff, and communicates it in a way that gives me confidence in him. I'm also impressed that he has taught at Harvard Medical School -- that tells me that his work has credibility in a Western medical context as well.
He is also honest and candid when there is something he doesn't know how to treat. I've had so many practitioners tell me I just need to keep coming back every week (and paying them money) when we weren't making progress and it wasn't at all clear to me they knew what to do about it. Scott never does that!
And on top of all that, he is also a genuinely kind and caring person. He treats me as a whole person, not just a patient.
I give him the highest recommendation possible. I think he is exceptional.

An absolute must when I visit Boston

Scott's extensive knowledge of his field is apparent throughout each
treatment. When our sessions begin the symptoms I describe as a
layperson are not always the actual root of whatever issue I may be
wishing to treat. However, Scott is always able to ask the leading
questions that reveal that true issue (or issues) in the diagnostic
process. His ability to extrapolate physical and psychological
manifestations of certain ailments never ceases to improve my overall
continence after each visit. For example, on my last visit I arrived
with anxiety, constipation and general digestive problems. By my next
visit 4 days later, I had improved skin coloration, digestive relief,
bowel movements and had even slept better. By realizing that my 25
year old anxiety had much to do with not only my present psychological
situation, but also my blood stagnation and deficiencies, Scott was
able to elegantly treat my physical and psychological centers in a way
that supplemented the western treatments of various interrelated
symptoms.
Scott's connection with his patients, and his finely tuned awareness
of the interrelation between the body, the mind, and the history of
both in a patient, make him a valued member of his field. I don't
even live in Boston but make sure that when I visit, I can schedule as
many treatments as possible with Scott! Though our relationship is
based on that of a medical professional and his patient, I find that
he is not only gentle and accurate with his physical treatments, but
also inviting and objective with all diagnostic questions. I have
always felt that any and all concerns, symptoms and issues are
welcomed and considered in our consultations. He is not afraid to ask
the tough questions, and never judgmental of their answers--a trait
that only heightens the outcome of my sessions. As a patient who lives
in Colorado and chooses to continue pursuing treatments from Scott
whenever possible, I can attest to his irreplaceable skill and demeanor.
If you're looking for a practitioner, YOU CANNOT PASS HIM UP!
